Fair Week is packed with activities for all ages—Ranch Rodeo, Concerts, Junior Livestock Shows, Equine Events, Mutton Bustin’, Smooth Operator Contest, Food, and Fun. The week wraps up with the Junior Livestock Sale and the Demolition Derby. The Carbon County Fair is our chance to spotlight the incredible youth of Carbon County, Wyoming, through their 4-H and FFA projects.
Highlights of the 2026 Fair
PRCA Rodeo — Wednesday, August 5
We’re thrilled to once again host a PRCA rodeo right here in Rawlins. Watch top cowboys and cowgirls from across the Rocky Mountain Region compete in rough stock and timed events. Mutton Bustin’ also takes place that night—signups are available at the arena the evening of the rodeo.
Concert — To Be Announced
Thanks to our partnership with HF Sinclair and Discover Carbon County, we are able to bring an unforgettable show to the fair.
Junior Livestock Sale — Friday, August 7
Join us for the Buyer’s Luncheon at noon, followed by the Junior Livestock Sale at 1:00 PM. This is your chance to support local youth and purchase high-quality animals for your freezer.
Demolition Derby — Saturday, August 8
Always a crowd favorite, the derby fills the grandstands every year. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
