Welcome to the Carbon County Fair Web Site! The theme for our 94th annual Fair is "Born in a Barn”! The Carbon County Fair is one of the most highly anticipated events of the summer in Carbon County. Fair Week includes Mud Volleyball, Tablescaping Competition, Stock Dog Trials, Rodeos, Junior Livestock Shows, Team Roping, a Ranch Rodeo, Mutton Bustin’, Wild Pony Races, Dummy Roping, Food, Fun, and the week caps off with the Junior Livestock Sale, and Mini Broncs and Mini Bulls Friday night. Saturday is the Demolition Derby, which is always a packed house! We pack as much as we can into one week! The Carbon County Fair is our chance to showcase the youngest members of Carbon County, Wyoming, through their 4-H and FFA Projects. These kids rock! Dates for the Carbon County Fair this year are August 1-8, 2020.
Directions: Take Cedar Street exit off I-80 and continue West, turn right on Harshman Street, and you will find the horse stalls at the bottom of the hill.
The Carbon County Fair Grounds are located between East Spruce & Daley Street and between Harshman & Rodeo Street in Rawlins, WY.

Things are heating up in Rawlins at the Carbon County Fair! The Fair Board did receive a variance for the Demolition Derby, for 50% of the usual capacity! There are new classes this year, like the Bone Stock, 1/2 Cars/ Mini Cars, and Limited Weld! There will be kids activities as well. This year will be online tickets only for the Derby. The Platte Valley Community Center is assisting with the online ticket sales. You can access the ticket sales at www.carboncountyfairgrounds.com, the Platte Valley Community Center’s web site, and also on the Rawlins Demolition Derby facebook page . Ticket sales open Saturday, July 25 at 6:00 p.m. There are only 1500 tickets available, so don’t delay!
